@SimpleStacker (now the proud owner of an official contributor badge) implemented territory analytics which currently provides an item chart (comments/posts) and sats chart (revenue/stacking/spending). It's available via the usual analytics page and you can view each territory via the dropdown.
@sox dynamically imported a bunch of rarely used libraries reducing the initial site download by 40%, fixed the /top/cowboys url to disallow time periods, fixed an issue with @anon and webln based wallets, and thinks they've fixed the image/video issues in Safari for good.
@Scroogey (also a new contributor badge recipient) fixed the popover on comment links, clicking on notifications with code blocks, the over eager auto-embed of some nostr urls with bech32 entities, and has added a script for auto-adding entries to our awards record (... still not sure if this works 100% yet).
@ek fixed an issue with footnotes in long posts.

We are going to begin working on growth things (tbd) now.

Since starting the Open Source Contributor Award Rules (OSCARs), we've paid a total of 20.5m sats to 41 contributors for 186 contributions! View a nearly up to date list of contribution awards here: https://github.com/stackernews/stacker.news/blob/master/awards.csv

I think everyone is already doing that and it doesn't seem to be working. Need more targeted marketing and promotion in my opinion,

I'm not exactly sure yet. Most normal things (social media posting/shilling) are worth doing, so we'll work on that, but don't outpace churn more than 10-20%. We also have some referral/signup plans gathering dust we should work on.
@kr wormholed (higher yield faster) some of our plans to with an idea to allow territories on custom domains (e.g. https://forum.august.shop), so that brand owners can run branded spam-resistant forums on their own properties while bringing their communities to us, so @sox is researching how to get us to an MVP now. For example, if we can get some brand with a 1000 person community to do this, we've one-shotted SN to double the size, and can mutually benefit from each other's growth.

I think promoting some evergreen content would be useful for growth. Maybe intro page that says like "what would you like to learn about?" and it pulls up top or curated posts for various topics?
@Jon_Hodl also asked recently whether SN posts are indexed by Kagi (#901143). I don't know much about SEO, but promoting the searchability and discoverability of SN content via other channels would help a lot too.

I like the custom domain idea. Not that I don't like the rest but this is kind of unique.

It's a "wormhole" growth idea imo (kr is really good at this).

Post and create the best content and show to other folks where to find it...

But still not working on my proposal about ranking on territories and rewards. You will remember my words. SN still can be gamed because of that. I was able to withdraw more sats out even that I posted less and also not using a p2p wallet, just CCs.
