Chamath strikes me as the kind of guy that might live by the maxim "all is fair in money." I remember hearing him on Rogan and yanking the earbuds from my ears thinking, "my god, this guy sounds like he hasn't had a conversation with a normal, non-mega-rich person that isn't an employee in a decade."
One thing I like to ask when I'm thinking about respecting someone is "what are they willing to do for money, especially when they aren't desperate for it?" More often than I like the answer seems to be everything short of what they think they'd go to prison for. It's really common in the altcoin space, but I think it's also just plain common, altcoins or no.
I just finished reading Bitcoin Billionaires. Chamath is described as a "boastful, overdressed suit in the Valley, quick to parrot groupthink buzzwords and cliches... "
Well, looks don't always deceive I guess.

Not terrible but so far not worth the risk .
Yeah this guy so far has a terrible track record. Insiders made out but retail investors got dumped on hard.
Virgin galactic was always the dumbest idea, I never understood how they generated so much hype...
