Much as I would like this post to be true, its not. Trump has issued his own shitcoin as has Melania. Trump is profiteering from shitcoin. A massive and blatant abuse of power and position. ETH is up today. N.Koreans use Bitcoin too. Shitcoins will die off slowly but it will not be completed while convicted criminal shitcoin issuer Trump is in power.

They being said, people need to quit foghorning "Trump is a convicted criminal". There is so much evidence in your face now that his entire experience with the indictments and the NY judge was an absolutely shameful display of backfiring political bribery, and weaponized judiciary to have ever taken place. And I think it's been said here already, but profiteering implies there are goods in short supply, which meme coins are certainly not. Shitcoins are the modern apex predators, and thousands upon thousands of the weak and stupid fall to them daily.

What does it mean to be convicted of a crime?

The judicial process is a complex one, but, in general, once a person is charged, they go on trial. A judge (and in many cases with a jury) hears the evidence presented against them (brought by the prosecution) as well as as their defense.

If convicted, the person has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt or declared guilty of the offense.

Trump is a convicted criminal.

Vitalik has called for a vote on rolling back the ledger, which sort of takes care of the centralization claims. At least it creates a smoke and mirrors decentralization environment. While the shitcoin extravaganza should absolutely die, it will not. So long as gullable saps are squeezed into life, so shall the used car salesmen with some small variation of the oldest trick in the book to take them for everything they've got...

Eth has been dying a slow death since the Merge. this is just another day for them and with the new regulations (or lack there of) on shitcoins, I don't think it will have more reververations than it already hat.
I do hope it drags the other blockchains with it. But I am not confident it will be more significant than degens leaving for a while and comming back to later on.
Fort Knox is going to glitter and shine to leave everybody blind, It has been reported that there is a massive repatriation of gold happening for the last months. Apparently USA wants to let the world know that they are as mighty as they say they are with a full display of their riches. Trump is a narcisist and he will not do that unless he knows he will win.
