I think having wooly mammoths would be cool, and im sure dinosaurs would be fine so long as we spare no expense.

Reviving Neanderthals is a fascinating idea. We have the DNA and the tech to do it.
Imagine another group of people, from the Homo Genus, living alongside us on this planet. Like the good ol' days.

Yea, but I said to spare no expenses, so it would definitely be OK this time.

I'm not sure we have preserved DNA of the non-Arctic animals.

We had lions? Dude absolutely bring those back! We need them to keep the camel population in check.
Literally nothing could go wrong.

I remember reading about a project to bring mammoths back at UAF several decades ago. It's definitely in the works. The idea is to insert the intact mammoth DNA into elephant embryos. Basically, use the genetic differences we now know about to mutate elephants into mammoths.

I think the same as you, I would like to see dinosaurs roaming around beyond what I have seen in the movies and if it were possible to revive some historical characters it would be great.
