This is the coolest keyboard I've ever come across. But the reason this keyboard strikes me as so interesting isn't simply because of the design.
It's because the digital display is designed to optimize for productivity and creativity. It has a few different panels your can search through with physical knobs:
  • A pomodoro timer
  • A Tamagotchi pet that dances when you're typing fast
  • A large display clock
The keycaps also feel more fun to type on, and the keyboard stand doubles as a magnetic ruler you can whip out whenever you need to measure something.
I also did a full interview with the founders exploring how they build their keyboards.
dang... they're very expensive. I do like the features though.
I've gotta stick with my ergodox even though its switches are squeaking since I took it on a couple dusty desert adventures. the split nature is really good for me
(this one's not mine, but it's the same layout)
looks like you've got quite a following. i like the "product" focus.
have you considered discussing with the Coinkite folks? they have a homegrown manufacturing line, I think.

that’s a cool layout, i’ve never used a split keyboard before

Very cool.

I quite like my Dygma Raise 2.

Thanks, I hate it.
I'll stick to my simple mechanical board. If I want to change that up, there are tons of split keyboards that I'm interested in messing with. I don't see how a display with a dancing beanie baby (read: flashing distraction) is going to help with productivity. Looks like a gimmick to me.

fair enough, sounds like it’s not the right product for you
