One period in and I am sold.

This is way better than a traditional All Star Game. Players are taking it seriously. They are actually playing defense and checking (checking isn’t super aggressive but enough to make it competitive hockey instead of a showcase).

I am looking forward to the rest of this tournament. Go Canada!

Hopefully the NBAs all star change will also have a similar effect.

I am not that fond of the Canadian jersey either. It’s ok but they have had better Canadian jerseys.

Canada looked amazing last night but that goalie is suspect. The boys in blue GOT THIS! Plus with the 3-2-1 point system Canada winning in overtime can hurt them in the long run

Watched the first period and even though Canada is up 2-0 the game is close! Love that the top teams were chosen for it so it’s shorter but not lacking in action!
