I like doing crafts with my daughter and I like it even more when they are improvised. It was our girls' day, we didn't know what activity to do and my daughter said to me "how about we do crafts?" I told her that it seemed like a good idea, but we didn't know what craft to create, in the end we decided to make a Barbie house out of cardboard, we didn't see any tutorials on any website, everything just flowed spontaneously, we had paint, brushes and cardboard, it couldn't be more perfect. Here is our little work of art: it consists of a bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen. My daughter has some Barbie accessories that complemented the house, such as a spa tub, oven, car and a jetsky that she uses as a "delivery motorcycle" haha it's very funny. Tremble Mattel.

Maybe your next project will be a full-size cardboard playhouse something like the below. My dad made me something like it (not quite so fancy), I still remember it well. Appliance boxes can be gotten for free.

What a beautiful house! I love it! I imagine you must have very nice memories of your house and it makes it more special that your dad made it. You can make amazing things with cardboard, I have seen so many crafts from kitchens to rockets, it makes you want to buy gallons and gallons of paint to make lots of crafts.

We really enjoyed it so much that we spent the whole morning and afternoon painting and playing. My daughter was surprised when I told her we were already 9 hours into it (including lunch breaks) she said "I thought it had only been 2 hours"
