My answer should be fairly obvious, but I thought I'd try something a little more lighthearted today.

So I will go with the obligatory Aardvark takes the championship belt.

The Crow!!! He would find a solution to fuck anyone

This.

Well then don't mess with humans.

reply

Humans go hard in groups and with projectiles. They suck in 1v1 and in in the ring without tools.

reply

Yea, I think a house cat would destroy a human at the same size.

reply

I’m just wondering, who would end up petting who? 😂

reply

Yeah I forgot it was a 1v1 fight, thanks. Then I would pick cassowary.

Male lion.

Its a question of "combat sports". Sure there are tons of super strong animals....however the real question to ask is: How many of these animals regularly fight to the death?

A gorilla is super strong, but fatal fights are exceedingly rare. Same with most other animals.

A new male lion coming into a territory will kill the existing male and all the cubs in order to gain access to the females, thus this presents a "do or die" proposition that they are willing to fight to the death over this.

reply

I think felines in general wouldn't be a bad pick. They are pure carnivores and built to kill.

reply

I dunno, probably ants? Don't they have super strength relative to body size? Plus body armor

but they only have mandibles

reply

If we're considering the insect kingdom as animals, them probably an insect of some type. Depends on the semantics I suppose.

Are you implying insects are not animals?

reply

Insects are technically animals absolutely, although for the sake of conversation, they aren't always considered to be.

A banana is a berry, but isn't really considered one in daily conversation.

reply

Honey badger

Fair enough.

Probably an insect of some kind assuming we consider them an animal. A wasp or hornet might be a good pick.

reply

I think a Wasp would just throw a cocktail party and maybe smack his wife around later... but yea a hornet may do it.

I didn't know wasps were such party animals.

reply

They're complete snobs. You wouldn't want to party with a wasp.

Who is showing up to their cocktail party then?

reply

Other wasps....

Oh they're speciest. I get that.

reply

Questions like these are so fun.

I am going to say Rhinoceros. Powerful and a built in deadly weapon.

reply

They have pretty thick skin too.... I don't see them winning, but it's certainly an argument that I'd be willing to accept.

We need to get Rick Moranis to help figure this out.

Wouldn't surprise me if it's some sort of crab. Near-inpenetrable shell, massive claws, once you remove the size advantage of other animals then the crab becomes quite viable.

reply

Honey Badger.

No contest.

reply

maybe like a komodo dragon
