Welp the Bills fall short on the road against two legends in the sport by three points.
Let’s get to it:
  1. People really don’t understand how good Andy Reid is. The offense he calls is just spectacular. Sean McDermott was looking for answers all night long. If it wasn’t for a lucky fumble recovery the KC offense would have had a perfect first half. Reid and Mahomes are match made in heaven and you really have to be on your A game to beat them. Today Buffalo played at a B level.
  2. Losing Christian Bendford early in the game was a killer. Elam (a 1st round 2022 pick) was just lost out there. Reid and Mahomes exposed the weakness. But overall the chickens came to roost on this defense. It got fat off turnovers all season long and once they dried up they had no answers. I always thought this wasn’t a championship level defense and tonight proved it.
  3. Poor Josh Allen. While I don’t think he played amazing, he definitely had some really good plays tonight but once again the team let him down. Defense came up small. WRs not making catches but the final play Buffalo had on offense is what does it for me. Josh does an amazing job avoiding a blitz (which Spags did an amazing job disguising) which rushed Josh but he still got off an amazing throw down field as to where a Bills player could have made the catch. Dalton Kincaid made an attempt for the ball and completely whiffed and dropped the pass! I was beside myself! I don’t understand how you can be a pro NFL player and not make that catch!!! Super frustrating.
Overall I’m not to sad or beat up over this loss. Going on the road against a two time champion is a tall task. Josh at times was meh (fumbled a snap) the team looked jittery at times and in the back of my mind I knew this defense just wasn’t good enough. I honestly thought this would be a down year for the Bills and they would go 9-8 but they made it all the way to the AFC championship so I’m happy the season went as well as it did.
Great season fellas. Now we look to the draft and free agency to see if we can finally get over this hump. Also I got some Fiat coming my way thanks to the hedge bet. 50% of the winnings will go to the stacker rewards pool so stackers at least yall can celebrate tonight.

Thank you Buffalo for another awesome season!

It was frustrating to watch. The Chiefs were clearly the better team and they were generally executing better, but the Bills had a real chance to win. Rough couple of weeks for TE's w/ Andrews costing the Ravens their season, too.
I hate that the refs got those two opportunities to screw the Bills. That's part of beating the Chiefs: don't make anything ambiguous enough for the refs to give it away.
I also hate that I have to cheer for the Eagles now.

Very well put. Josh was average. Fumbles. Missed throws. To beat that team you gotta play perfectly. And Josh didn’t

Hell of a season. A couple calls didn't go their way and that was a huge momentum swing. I was a little frustrated they kept trying the tush push over and over on 3rd and 4th down when the Chiefs had clearly planned for it. Should have tried something different or at least disguised it better. That left it in the refs hands to not give the Bills the first down and then excellent field position to the Chiefs to go down and score.

Yeah Josh was hesitant tonight the whole team was jittery

in the first quarter but they settled down by the third quarter when they ran the ball

good point
especially going left

If you are going to beat the Chiefs and the refs you have to execute flawlessly.

2 missed 2 point conversions
Did not convert 4th and short in 4th quarter but one line judge said it was a first down
The simultaneous catch should have been called incomplete
also: James Cook didn't get enough touches in 4th quarter imo
Dalton Kincaid almost caught the desperation pass on 4th down, should caught it, normally sure handed
reply
But he’s not Kincaid all season long has had drops for the more tougher catches which is frustrating because we traded up to draft him and he doesn’t making game breaking plays
reply
should have caught it

Bills need to improve their defense... a good backup to Milano and Bendford

The scoreline tells Bills fought it hard. It's hard luck this time, nothing else.
