Larry Fink, the CEO of BlackRock and arguably one of the most powerful men on the planet, is now openly saying that the countries with xenophobic immigration policies are going to have a higher standard of living, faster productivity growth, and will be better able to accomdate the social impact of artificial intelligence advances over the coming years.
“You know, we always used to think shrinking population is a cause for negative growth. But in my conversations with the leadership of these large developed countries that have xenophobic immigration policies, they don’t allow anybody to come in, shrinking unemployment, excuse me, shrinking demographics. These countries will rapidly develop robotics and AI and technology. And if the promise, I didn’t say it’s going to happen, but as a promise of all that transforms productivity, which most of us think it will, we’ll be able to elevate the standard of living of countries and the standard of living of individuals even with shrinking populations,” said Fink.
“And so the paradigm of negative population growth is going to be changing. And the social problems that one will have in substituting humans for machines is going to be far easier in those countries that have declining populations,” he said.
Well, what do we have here. Larry Fink of Blackrock admitting that countries with xenophobic immigration policies are doing better than those taking in all comers!! He also predicts that those xenophobic immigration policy countries will be far ahead in automation and AI production due to their shrinking populations and homogenous populations. This is exactly opposite of what he has been pushing for many a long year: DEI and inward migration for European countries. The balls on this guy are just unbelievable! You have to read the article to see how far he is willing to go out on this limb.
Any example of a country with xenophobic immigration policy that does better? So he thinks that Hungary will be ahead in automation and AI than idk Denmark? OMG 🤡 I want to see this happen…

Fink and others are so damn pathetic and opportunistic, the political system has changed, they change clothes too. We have seen that so many times, the hardcore nazis became communists, then democrats, from one day to another. 🤮
I hope that the cleaning staff at BlackRock’s premises are all native-born residents, as some might assume now. Who is going to do such jobs?

Fink and crew are the motherWEFers that we all despise for their progressive/lefty/Marxist/socialist/communist/murdererours ways. They want to control you carbon so they can either depopulate the planet or “own everything and be happy”. They are despicable.

Most likely he is just ingratiating himself with those who now hold the purse strings.
These guys live on convincing others to give them capital to manage. That's it, that's their whole schtick. Sales is the most important thing, and Trump and the AI tech bros are the ones with the power of the purse now

I think this fink is running out of the ability to convince people. We now know that he believes himself above the fiduciary requirements of someone in his position. The trust will disappear, as well as his investors. He is not investing to make money for his shareholders, he is investing money for ideological reasons.

Reminds me of the argument that slavery actually delayed the industrial revolution...

Are you shocked about that? If you can use people as cheaply as you can get them, you make more money. Could this be why there are lots and lots of Indians making their way here on these H1B visas? When more expensive Merkan workers could do the job?

Shocked? No. Im just dispassionately observing and commenting. Indeed, this is precisely what I'm hearing H1b is about. It seems to me that the US and Europe economies, or rather their big corporations, are not competitive internationally unless they hire cheap labour, which is why they push for open borders.

The problem is that the capital of the Western world has been stolen and sequestered enough that we cannot use it to substitute capital based technology for cheap labor. The problem is of our overlords greedy making. THEY must have everything, leaving you happy with nothing.
