Wow! Thanks.
First of all let me tell you that this isn't a dog, it's a beast. This dog has been used to hunt wolves and other wild animals to protect humans and cattle. There are dogs whose bite force is more than this giant but its size makes it the strongest dog. TMs are the only remaining original direct descent of wolves. Some even say it's a mix of lion and bear. Their immunity is best among dogs.
As I told you yesterday we (I and 3 other friend) went to a temple in the upper Himalayas where we met a TM who guarded the temple. As it was the time of summer, there were many tourists in the temple area. However everyone who went near was afraid of the dog, the dog was quiet and ignoring everyone.
We silently did the worship and didn't have any issues, many others did the same and it was all good. As the temple is up above a mountain we started clicking picks and beholding the beauty.
Then suddenly we listened people yelling and running here and there. We saw that the TM who was very peaceful has gotten angry for some reason. We also became afraid and wanted to hide but there was just that shrine with the gate and it was open everywhere. We were at distance and seeing the dog was biting everyone, as it seemed.
The priest, the owner of the dog, managed the situation but till then the dog has rushed over quite a few people, including kids and women. It was total messages. They were begging for their lives and crying like mads.
When the dog was leashed, we went near, the people were cursing the priest for leaving the dog unleashed. The priest was a man of patience and just said that his dog would never hurt anyone.
The funny thing, to ours to everyone's surprise, was that the dog was actually playing by grabbing people's clothes, taking them down and growling on their face. He didn't bite anyone, not even the scratches. The reason for it becoming playful, as by the priest, was that someone would have tried to become friendly with him, a kid later confirmed the same.
Then it started to rain and we had a long discussion with the priest about the dog and why he had it there and so many other things.

I imagine it's scary to even play with one of those dogs. My dog growls and play bites clothes too. But, she's 35 pounds!

A 3 to 6 month TM would weight this much. I don't know why they say that it only weights upto 150 pounds. I've seen much bigger than them.
