If I am the Rams I follow the exact defensive playbook the Lions ran today. Sam was seeing ghosts. He missed two easy TD throws and multiple open guys on third down.
I am biased as I watched him play at A&M but I will say his numbers and durability are so rare to see. He's a sure-handed big target who moves well and doesn't get hurt. I wanted Houston to sign him so bad last off-season. HTX was one of the places he was willing to consider outside of TB.
Since the Jets game got bumped to the later slot, watching the Pats/Bills for some backup QB action (not sure if a Pats win means the Jets could pass them in the draft order, but will make things interesting).
Man, there were different times back then... today these guys would be ejected in the first quarter...lol
Did we pu$$ify this game to the point of no return? Remember old Raiders? Some people were literally scared of them...
I am fundamentally incapable of rooting for my team to lose, even if it means a worse draft. If we do lose, it's a silver lining, but I always want the W.
I feel the same. 49ers could drop from 11 to 14 in draft position today if they win and while I won't really care if they lose I am not going to root for it.
