Team Canada misses 8 shots in a row in the shootout before their goalie finally gives up one and loses 3-2 to Latvia.
Canada will need to beat US or need Finland to beat Latvia to secure a place in the semifinals now.

Damn! And I was awake, but forgot to turn on live broadcast. Will rewatch full recording. Before the game I would have predicted 7-0 Canada win. Latvia is also younger team in the tournament, with bunch of even 16 years old players.

Last time with 50+ saves against Canada was for Kristers Gudļevskis at 2014 Olympics (Latvia lost 2-1), that was short boost for his career, played few games at NHL regular season and Stanley Cup with Tampa.
