Laptop screen size seems to affect the both portability and the general viewing experience of your laptop.
Having switched from a 14 inch to 15 inch, I can't help but marvel at how much more screen room does for me.
I can do a lot more stuff like run windows side by side. However this gives portability a hit, the change means I have to deal with a chunkier laptop to carry around?
For those who have used different laptop screen sizes, which laptop screen size suits you best?

Go for 13 or 14 inches if you travel a lot. Go for 16 or 17 inches if you use it mostly at home and never travel. 15 inches is the middleground.

I usually keep several second hand laptops around. I use the smallest possible (sub 13 inches) when travelling and the largest ones (up to 17 inches) to use at home and at work.

So it's a thing to have two laptops? Never had more than one.

Probably not for most people. I don't know how many I have, but I use three almost daily (I move them between rooms at home or at work but I never take them out) and two more I take outside or travelling.

I like my 17 inch Linux laptop because I can get a lot of things on the screen simultaneously.
I still use my 13 inch Chromebook as a dedicated web browser (full screen).

17 sounds humongous, do you ever move around with it?

It's pretty bulky. I move it from living room to bedroom when I want to read in bed.

It probably doesn't fit on most bags either.
