Granted it is shake, and I got a $10 discount for being a first time customer. But isn't that crazy cheap? I fee like I remember paying over $200 for 1/2 oz back in the day. How cheap is weed, where you are? Can it get even cheaper still? It is interesting how this is one of the few things that are getting cheaper as everything else goes up. Why do you think that is? What was illegal not long ago, is not being priced to nothing.
I guess there is a lot of inflation in weed, too. I remember prices being much lower, even though it was not legal.

Maybe depends on where you are?

That could be, true. However, I think weed is moving interstate as well as intrastate. I don’t know if it is legal moving it interstate, but I am sure it is moving. Where there is money there will be distributors.

You can get flower in Michigan for $60/oz.

That is a pretty good deal. I would take that over the $40 shake. The cheapest I have seen, flower for a ounce here, is $80 I think.

Weed is illegal in Austin and I don't partake, but I'd guess people buy in bulk, drive it in from out of state, and resell at 20-50% markup over dispensary prices. I'm purely guessing, but I'd expect it's $40-60 per 1/8th.
$40 for an ounce of shake isn't that surprising. I've seen $100 for high quality shake - something you'd make ice water hash with.

I guess the legality of it changes the market quite a bit. I hear up in Oregonthey are practically giving it away. I have watched prices continue to fall where I am.
