We have SMU vs Penn state in CFB and Texans vs Chiefs right now.
Anyone watching?
Apparently this is one of those games where the Chiefs OLine is allowed to false start and hold on every play.
reply
There are at least 17 of those kinds of games a season.
reply
20 if you include playoffs.

What is this game?
I doubt the Steelers are going to get back into this one.
reply
So @grayruby this Steelers v Ravens game is more fun for me to watch BECAUSE I’ve been watching the HBO AFC North In Season tv show that covered the lead up in practice to this game! And how high are the stakes

Unfortunately I don't get it.

Sad!

What is everyone's opinion of Tom Brady as a broadcaster?
reply
Overall not great but I do like some of his insights. "If I was the QB I would be doing xyz"
reply
I wish he did more of that.
reply
I was questioning your use of the Ravens D in fantasy prior to the game considering how bad they have been this year but Russ has single handedly made them elite by fumbling on the two when the Steelers probably would have had a TD and now throwing a ridiculous pick 6.
reply
Better than using Steelers or Texans
reply
I don't think the Ravens D have played that well. That fumble and the pick 6 were brutal. That was a 14 point swing.
reply
True, but when you have Henry and Lamar on the other side, you don't have to be consistently good.

This is true. I hope Lamar is this good in the playoffs. I want to see a true battle between Allen, Jackson and Mahomes for the AFC. And then whoever wins will probably destroy whoever the NFC winner is.
Yeah, like Romo he knows what he speaks of and it clicks sometimes. It's just distracting at times when he goes on a stream of consciousness dump where I lose track of what he's even saying. I miss Olsen at times on these as he had more personality as well, which is needed for the color commentator role.

Olsen was great.
reply
TE are smart because they have to block and catch, play on the line or slot or outside
They have to be versatile and understand running and passing plays
reply
Not very good, imo. Hard to describe why, he just doesn’t seem great
reply
It's a real fumble fest.

What happened exactly with Dell’s knee?
reply
I came back from picking the kid up from her grandparents house as Dell was being carted off the field. What happened to him?
reply
Not sure. I have missed a lot of the second half. Had to take my daughter for a haircut. I was following intermittently on my phone but just got back in to see Jones go down for Chiefs.
reply
Every time I watch the Chiefs play I get more pissed off at Kyle Shanahan and the way he calls 3rd down and red zone. Chiefs always have some screen play or pick or simple out route that just works to keep the chains moving. Meanwhile the 49ers are trying to throw the ball 25 yards downfield.

Thank god you set this up! I tried to but my flight took off back to Houston before it would publish and the wifi has been terrible!
reply
I’m watching! Disappointed in Stroud and his two interceptions
reply
I am still very bullish Stroud as a potential future top 5 QB but he has definitely taken a step back in year 2. Not too surprising as the league has adjusted. Look forward to see what he will look like next season.
I think sometimes we forget how much experience matters in QB play.
reply
Agreed! Better than Young

Aye we still in it! I mean since he his picks were responsible for 10 KC point he is lighting up the board!

Money line on Chiefs
reply
I didn’t bet on this game. Wasn’t sure how healthy Mahomes would be after his ankle issue last game.
I have a parlay in the Ravens/Steelers game and a parlay in the CFB games today.
reply
SMU and Indiana simply didn’t belong in the CFB playoffs.
reply
took SMU 40 years to recover from death penalty (pony express)
reply
I didn't know that story. I just looked it up.

Reading a time magazine article about it.

Well SMU almost was an automatic bid and was so close to overcoming Clemson. I'd give them a year or two before they really go wild I mean ESPN has been running the articles about SMU and its Billionares for the last week or so 😂
