Just like many people I rarely carry any cash on me, so any time I need to repay anyone in fiat it’s usually through CashApp or Zelle.
Recently I had an idea and cashapped a coworker some bitcoin. I figured they can take the bitcoin or exchange it for fiat right in the app.
I know many people aren’t a fan of KYC but in my opinion KYC is the easiest way to onboard people. Once they do their research and go down the rabbit hole, they can then go non-KYC however they see fit. In my opinion, CashApp is pretty good for this.
And yes, my coworker still has his bitcoin.
The best way to orange pill is by simply saying "study bitcoin" and leaving. It's up to them to do the work. If they come back asking for help, it's a good sign, otherwise HFSP.

100% agree, I stopped trying to explain it to people. I just think this way I’m exposing people who may have been on the fence and forcing them to take the step or they opt out immediately if they aren’t interested

Depends if you really care about the person realising the truth, because selfishly you'd want Bitcoin to stay cheaper for longer. Also, simply sending Bitcoin with no further explanation might lead them to just go the speculative investment route.
Having said that, I think the easiest way is to explain the history of money, and describe the social constructs behind fiat and gold. When all that is put into perspective, it's much easier to see Bitcoin as an evolution of the money standard.
When the doubt in the current system is planted, they should naturally start researching themselves more, and hopefully buy it for the right reasons.

How do you orange pill?
In my opinion you basically can't. People figure out what Bitcoin is when they are ready.

bitcoin education is a sacred gift. i am always on the lookout for people who will be able to get it, and are willing to learn more. i have pamphlets ready, outlining what is bitcoin and how to start properly, with a bunch of QR links.
at a meetup, i will mostly talk to newbies or someone who is willing to dive deeper into freedom topics. the rest are not worth my time.
lately, i have added a lot of other true knowledge to my arsenal, about health, law, spirituality, technology, psychology, etc. i don't want to be known exclusively as the "bitcoin guy." i will fight and destroy false beliefs, as soon as i hear the lies, because lies make me angry.
there is no group that is too important for me to leave, not even my family. luckily, the family is still thinking somewhat straight. we'll see what happens in 2025 - that shall be the true test of people's intelligence.

You have to explain the problem first. Most people are aware something is wrong, but they can’t articulate it.
Then you show them the solution.
