After 2 weeks, the purged of transactions worked perfectly.
I did a transaction of 50 nested segwit utxo to one native segwit address with a low fee.
I considered a low fee, because transactions are measued by kb size and the fee was really high over the value of the transaction.
However, it did not entered in any block in 2 weeks, time when the network make a purge and your transaction is forgotten.
However, I wonder why it didn't entered in any block in 2 weeks if non of this blocks were full. The 10 minutes time per block limit this kind of transactions and keep the sat/vB high.
I will try again with a higher fee, 3-4 sat/vB.

That is nice of her. I have to keep track of 4 peoples banking and all of the related bill paying and accounting. It is a pain in the a**.
reply
Sounds like it. In my last life I had to deal with all kinds of fiat stuff while running a business. Now I can't handle paying a single bill. We don't have a lot of that anymore but I am very grateful she does it. So I can hang out on stacker instead.

The worst of it is these f*cking debit cards. They are the worst. Nobody, but nobody feels that they have to make the entries into the checking register when they use them. I go to the bank, online, and look to balance the registers and see 20 or 30 unwritten entries of debit card usage. Usage with no thought of what the balances in the checking account are! I have been telling them to get and use cash, instead. It is not traceable, not accounted for and you can use it everywhere, knowing exactly how much you have. They won’t do it!!!!!!!!! I have about given up on it.

the occult meaning of the lightning bolt:
some dense reading if interested: https://hermetic.com/caduceus/qabalah/03_kab
"all models are wrong, some are helpful." "there is nothing new under the sun." in order to organize our thoughts, emotions, and actions, several mechanisms have been proposed over the course of our history. many of them degenerated into false religions, and so did the kabalistic method. that's alright, because one can still gleam some insight from the structure.

Bitcoin north of 100k doesn't hit me very hard. I think it's been here in my head so long that it's not hitting me like others. Not sure though. It may also be because Fiat has no bottom and we haven't seen anything yet.
All that said, it's a good day.

As the price goes up all I can think about of all the people who are being priced out of ever getting to 1 bitcoin.
Right in front of our eyes middle class citizens are being priced out of owning 1 bitcoin.
While I should have this massive euphoria of optimism I keep thinking what will happen next. How will price impact zapping? Spending and replacing will get very difficult now.
A lot of different thoughts go through my mind. Like it feels good to be right but the others who are wrong will have envy.

reply
The amount of sats you get per buck. Back in my day $1 can get you 5k sats. Now it’s like 900?
So it’s more of a psychological thing especially when your fiat pay doesn’t match the growth in bitcoin.

reply
Yes, and for the first time in my life I'm worried about taking a fall. Now that I'm older it's a bigger concern. I stepped in a little sinkhole in my driveway while walking my dog late at night about a month ago. I bashed a knee and bruised some ribs. I was lucky. It could have been a lot worse.
reply
I once slipped on the ice and fell on the stoop going out my door. I thought I was lucky because I caught an arm on a rail, instead of going all the way down. It turned out that I did something to my arm which caused it to turn the color of a hard bruise. The whole arm, from finger tips to shoulder. It surprised the hell out of me because I thought I was safe.

Stoop! I have not heard that term since I was a kid in NYC. Where are you from?
Sounds like an ugly fall.
reply
My father was from London via New York City. That is what I learned to call it. People also call them, “The steps.” No, it wasn’t so ugly, although it could have been. I think I caught a main artery on the rail edge and may have done some internal bleeding. It didn’t hurt and I didn’t bother with the medicos. I did not think it was so bad, but it took about 6 weeks to totally clear.

Snow can be so unpredictable and treacherous especially thick snow. I’m so sorry to hear about your fall last month. Maybe using long boots with excellent grip could help with stability during dog walks. Stay safe out there.

I would not use an airport to travel. It's air-port. It's about Maritime law. Airports are corporations. Once you step in, you must obey their rules. It's a contract.
But yeah people nowadays are so brainwashed that imaginary borders exist in real life.
