Does every father have a moment in which he thinks his daughter is Daddy’s Girl?
For me, it happened today when mine rejected the bed covers and used my chest as her head rest. She has a hyperactive streak, so of course she didn’t stay there for long. But she did snuggle up to me for a bit before rolling away. It felt good to have her company in her dark, and it might just make up for her Terrible Two antics.
Every moment I spend with her.

Same here, and she's an adult.

I look forward to going on free and easy trips with my children when they grow older. Your road trip sets a good example

I am like a book with a great title and nothing inside. Haha

I have had many. As many as possible. My kids are getting to be grown and I miss it already.

But I guess if they are still young, you can’t really embark on your current projects - the things that fill your soul

My daughter runs to open the door to the garage when she hears me pull in. She jumps around shouting that she missed me. It's very sweet.

Indeed, the look of pure delight when they first see you for the day is priceless

Yes, the truth is that all of us who are given a girl have that moment... they are very fleeting and we should treasure that image! And let it remain in our thoughts until the last of our days! ☺️

Well said. The days are long but the years are short
