Well this is going to ruffle a ton of feathers on the Democratic side. Especially with Rep.-elect Sarah McBride (D-Del.) starting in January as the first trans person elected to Congress

If women are expected to be comfortable sharing a bathroom with a biological man, then by that logic, a trans woman should be comfortable sharing a bathroom with biological men.
The logic surrounding gender from the left is so fucking non-existent.

this is an interesting concept. I think what some people wonder... is which bathroom a female-to-male person should use?
If a woman transitions to a man, has a beard, big muscles, looks like a guy etc... does he use the men's room? Because I think that's what women would prefer right it's logical

You are deflecting , evading the relevant question

“It is important to note that each Member office has its own private restroom, and unisex restrooms are available throughout the Capitol.”
That's information I wasn't aware of, and reframes things significantly.

Rep.-elect Sarah McBride has responded to the move by agreeing to it and honestly taking the high road wanting to focus on her constituents

I assume the headline is misleading and she will be allowed to use a bathroom in the capitol building.

Member offices all have private bathrooms. In the Capitol I would assume she would just use a bathroom in one of the Democratic leadership offices.
