It reminded me of this short story.
In a place near a coast there was a fisherman who had 3 children with whom he was sharing with his wife at the time a man arrived at the place in a big car and dressed in an expensive suit. Then this man called the fisherman and the following conversation arose.
-Man: Fisherman friend, what properties do you have?
-Fisherman: I have my family of 3 children and my wife. I also have a boat to fish and my house with what is necessary.
-Man: How is the fishing business going, how much time do you dedicate and what do you do with the fish?
-Fisherman: I dedicate from before dawn until around 10 or 11 in the morning, it is like 4 to 5 hours, then a buyer comes who takes all the fish and pays me what was agreed.
-Man: And that's all?
-Fisherman: Afterwards I spend time with my family having a good lunch, I rest under the trees with my wife and in the afternoon I play with my children. Later we eat together, we talk and then we sleep until the next day.
-Man: I think that if instead of spending only 4 to 5 hours fishing, you spent 8 hours, you would have more fish to sell, you would earn more money and in 5 years you could buy another boat and hire another fisherman. After 5 more years you could buy a truck and you yourself would take the fish to the market and earn more money, although you would have to work 3 more hours. With those earnings you could buy more boats in 5 years and you would have more fish. After 5 more years you would have a fleet of boats and trucks and you would earn more money and hire more people. So instead of working 11 hours you could only work 4 to 5 hours and you could enjoy your family the rest of the day.
-Fisherman: So you would have to spend 20 to 25 years working 11 hours a day to be able to do what you do now?
Moral: Let's value the time we spend with our family. All the money in the world can buy back lost time.
