Most of my progressive friends are so shocked and angry that they can't even talk about the election results. They can, however, share memes.
I thought this summed up the arrogance and elitism of the current democratic party. There is a lack of self awareness.

this society is extremely superstitious. most people are in a perpetual state of trance; it is amazing what has been done to the collective psyche. one memetic spell has to be counter-balanced with another memetic spell in order to return a semblance of normalcy... but people end up under spells anyways, holding on to both!
the scariest thing to me is that people absolutely love this conditioning thru entertaining memes & symbols.
dear stackers, this is what chaos looks like, a collective of chaotic minds somehow managing to keep the neurons from exploding. at least stackers got bitcoin to reorient themselves, some have Christian teachings for same purpose, but many others are not so lucky.

It's also kinda racist to associate countries that end in "stan" with stupidity

THEY don't care!! THEY are not racist, ever. Only THEIR opponents can ever be racist. Only THEIR targets can be racist, or any other ad hominem attack they can make.

That didn't even occur to me until later.
Also, what did CO, NM, and VA do? And, why are WI, MI, and especially PA getting a pass?

I could feel about a week before the election that the momentum seemed to be building for Trump. And that sentiment was growing against Harris for example the series that Candace Owens was doing on Harris’s ancestry was getting a lot of views.
However on the progressive side they seemed completely clueless.
And in the UK many political pundits and politicians were equally out of touch. Check out Rory Stewart’s tweet.

I predicted a decisive victory for Trump the night before Election Day. I thought polls underestimated support for Trump.

Dumbfuckistan!
It'll be all about Trump from now so would be better we better we call it Trumpistan or the United States of Trumpistan.
Those who voted for Trump aren't dumb. They did it to save themselves from being mocked by the rest of world for making a president who could be weak against all the conspiring outward forces.

We point out on No Agenda that Democrats (Not our producers who are Democrats) cannot meme.
Not only is the electoral map wrong but this even takes more away from Kamala's wins, like Virginia. And if course it ignores the mostly Republican vote of the states in the North where city majority with a small footprint but large population weighed heavier than the majority of business and property owners surrounding these areas.
Alas, the sense of humor had been hijacked and Alex Jones said it best:
Go To: No Agenda 1710 Transcript and scroll down to 11:01 to set up this clip. It's about a minute.

Alex Jones

We're about to show you some more of the latest complete meltdowns and freakouts by leftists here in the United States because they think the second coming of Hitler has come with President Trump being reelected for the third time to be the 47th president of the United States. 12:06 They have Stockholm syndrome. 12:07 They love the establishment. 12:09 They love their abusers. 12:10 They think that they're the mavericks, the underdogs, the rebels. 12:15 But conservatives and populists who are making fun of them need to understand that these people were brought up in this culture. 12:23 They were set in front of the television by their parents. 12:26 They were then brainwashed by the educational system. 12:29 And these are fellow Americans who we lost to the brainwashing. 12:35 And so I really don't think it's a laughing matter, even though I certainly understand it's hilarious.

well, we shall see how this plays out, but I would not hold my hopes up that Trump gives a shit about anybody else but himself. He is even a self proclaimed shitcoiner with a probable rug pull of all those suckers who bought into this theatre of thinking that voting actually matters.
check this one out :)
reply
This attitude is why they lost.
reply
Exactly
reply
Right, because the attitude of republicans would be to accept negative elections outcomes… where is this ridiculous nonsense coming from?
reply
I don’t expect Trump to improve very much, or anything at all, for that matter, but seeing these people and their statist brainwashers get their asses handed to them by the electorate brings me so much joy. 51% actually saw the economic and cultural cliffs and decided to stop accelerating. Granted most think the solutions lie with government action and Trump might actually believe that too, but at least there’s a shared sense that the private sector can do a drastically better job fixing shit than the Leviathan.
reply
I don't know that he improved very much! I think what happened was that the fraud, cheating and abuse in the system got wrung out of the system. Then, what was left and couldn't be gotten rid of was then pounced upon like a cat on a mouse.
Trump's side went out and out did the lying, cheating scumbags at their own game. Some of us are still looking for 20M votes for Biden-Harris in 2020. Where the hell did they come from? China?
reply
They’re not done counting yet! But the vote was definitely inflated because of the loose COVID absentee ballot rules. Parents were definitely filling out their kids’ ballots. Or maybe the kids didn’t have any better to do, but they definitely weren’t the most involved of voters if they stayed home this time. New rule: you can only vote if you’re a net payer of taxes. Skin in the game!
reply
Yes, skin in the game is the important feature!

Just a hunch, but I'm guessing this was from a Boomer or older Gen X? The younger progressives seem to go whole hog into the other extreme of never allowing any group to be blamed (not counting conservatives), and I see a lot of them yelling at progressive Boomers every time they do memes.
(And the progressive inability to stop infighting is even worse when they lose.)

Allan Lichtman was so arrogant and insufferable... he can eat crow.

After incumbent Harry Truman defeated Thomas Dewey in the 1948 United States presidential election despite many media predictions of a Dewey victory, The Washington Post sent a telegram to the victor:
You Are Hereby Invited To A "Crow Banquet" To Which This Newspaper Proposes To Invite Newspaper Editorial Writers, Political Reporters And Editors, Including Our Own, Along With Pollsters, Radio Commentators And Columnists ... Main Course Will Consist of Breast of Tough Old Crow En Glace. (You Will Eat Turkey.)[11]
On 7 November 2000, the election night of the 2000 Presidential Election, after the polls had closed, CNN predicted Al Gore would win Florida and the presidency. Later, CNN retracted the call and put Florida back in the too-close-to-call column before finally awarding Florida to George Bush. One of the anchors, Greenfield, likened CNN's error to eating crow.[12] Many other newspapers throughout the country retracted, and were also said to eat crow.[13]
LOL people always know about good memes, but not about political parties or politics in general
