It's Saturday, thus it is poll day!
We have 10 days until the NFL trade deadline and have already seen a number of notable moves.
I expect the Panthers, Browns, Patriots and Titans will be very active moving pieces.
I am not sure we will see a blockbuster move with the Rams hanging around in the NFC West and with Cleveland unlikely to move Myles Garrett but I expect a number of trades of notable players to take place.
Which team do you think will make the biggest splash at the deadline (either trading for a high level player or acquiring multiple quality pieces to augment their roster)?

Lions look real good, I think they really want Max
reply
Maxx isn't going anywhere.
reply
Maybe to the 49ers.
We will send you a 3rd rounder and Josh Dobbs.
reply
There's just no chance. He's the only thing holding the fans back from a complete boycott. Unless a bad team is offering five 1sts, I can't see why they'd entertain moving him.
Even with three firsts, you'd only expect one of those to be a real hit, with another being a useful player and the third one being a complete bust. The odds of that one hit being as good as Maxx are terrible.
reply
They would definitely take 3 firsts for him.
reply
I promise they would not. That's exactly what they traded Khalil Mack for and they're still regretting it. Marc Davis doesn't want to look stupid in the same way twice and he doesn't want to let Maxx go, so it would be nearly impossible to convince him to sign off on that.

Michigan kid, Michigan college, Lions fan
reply
It's not up to him, though (not that I think he even wants out).
reply
I will make it a 2nd rounder and Dobbs but you need to sign now.
reply
How about Kolton Miller instead? I hear you need a good offensive lineman and Kolton's an offensive lineman.
Seems like a good fit but that would cost a lot of draft capital and comes with a couple more years of huge caps hits. They don't need to extend Hutchinson until after next year so they could probably make it work but I don't think they could keep both after next season.

It seems like a lot of economics is involved outside of the games in American Football.

My first time subscribing to your posts, but no bounty do I see posted at the bottom of the poll. Can’t help but admit, I’m disappointed.
Out of pity I voted for your 49ers. 🫡
reply
Not everything has to have a bounty. I accept your pity vote. It's been that kind of year. Desperate times and all.

How the mighty have fallen 🥺
Is it time to admit CMC is not coming back in time for the Super Bowl?
reply
He will be back after the bye. You will see him against the Buccs on Nov 10th. I don't doubt they are going to give it a go. Whether he will be able to stay healthy and not go down again is another question.
reply
Did you see the dodgers game?
reply
I saw from the 6th inning on. Exciting game.
reply
Yes. Super exciting. Even with the fan interference
reply
That was so close but it did look like it would have hit the top of the wall.
reply
Hhhmm...who will ever know now?
reply
I have no feel for this, but I figured the 49ers have done it before and they're reeling from injuries. Also, the Bills and Chiefs already shot their wads.
reply
I expect the 49ers to make a number of moves. DE, WR and CB come to mind. OLine would be great but no one trades quality OLine players. I am not sure if they will make a big trade though. They need to value draft capital a little more than they used to because once they sign Purdy to an extension they will not be able to keep absolutely every star player like they have in the past. I am curious to see what they do. I think if an absolute stud becomes available like a Garrett or Parsons or Kupp they will jump at it. Otherwise I expect they will make moves around the edges.
Have to remember the 49ers will be getting back 2 all pros in CMC and Hufunga and a pro bowl caliber player in Greenlaw sometime in the second half.

Would love to see the bills get Myles Garrett
