They can at least be a bit more elegant about it.
"Kill Musk's Twitter"?
He owns it, its X now.
They are so behind the times.

It's a freudian slip. It reveals the desire to reclaim the coopting of public consensus through shadow banning, promoting state sanctioned media and socialist values. The evil mouthpiece before the CEO jumped ship.

I hope that he is left alone. Perhaps on an island, far away.

It's so disgusting. Heaven forbid that the people want to have an uncensored voice and elect representitives that are their best shot at upholding the legal right to speak freely.
Shame on these politicians.

Why is anyone surprised that a Fabian socialist (communist, Marxist or whatever the flavor of the day is) would want strict censorship? It never fails, they do it every time. It is one of their signature actions. Another one is, unfortunately, forced declines in population due to lead poisoning and starvation. Eerily enough, Starmer and his gang have decided to use kill shots and invasion to settle the British problem.

Pre-election, I remember hearing, 'oh you know, he's from a working class background, he held x position, he worked his way up'. For months leading up to the election, it was 'conservatives bad' on repeat 24/7. It's like temporal brainwashing throughout election season. Then people wake up again.

Perhaps letting yourself snooze off during elections is a mistake. A way to avoid that would be to require people to register far in advance (6 months), present themselves with ID at a local polling station. I know that in the US, charging people a fee to vote is against previous Supreme Court rulings, but it is the same as SN and Substack charging money to either post or read. It discourages unmotivated people from voting.

It is incredible watching western democracies throwing away their values and becoming tyrannical all in the name of saving democracy.
Just wait until they hear about Nostr.
