Howdy Stackers,
This week I rewatched:
Drag Me to Hell, one of my wife's favorite horror movies. It's a pretty good horror movie with lots of jump scares, that doesn't take itself too seriously, and the ending is great.
The Happening is one of my guilty pleasure movies. classic M. Night Shyamalan goofy dialogue, and the tone of the movie is all over the place, but man is it fun to watch. If you've seen this movie, as well as Shyamalan's "Signs", you should check out this guy's fan theory about how they could be connected: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4c-VoJF9-5E
What are you watching? What are you watching?
List any movies you watched or rewatched this week or links to your SN movie reviews.
Any weekend movie plans stackers?
Movies, plural? I have a four year old. I get in like one movie a year.
Fair enough, what was this years movie then??
What's the last movie you saw in theaters?
Deadpool and Wolverine, which we enjoyed well enough.
I will attempt to watch V for Vendetta on Nov. 5th, por tradicion.
This sounds like an excellent November 5th tradition.
I went to a bonfire on Guy Fawkes Day in the UK and it was awesome. Very big fire.
I made some jokes about "trying again" but those jokes did not seem to land well.

Does it bother them that people like us take the "wrong" lesson from Guy Fawkes Day?
I think so.
When they hear my American accent, I think they understand a little more and just roll their eyes at me.

Look at this guy who thinks you can have freedom and prosperity by rebelling against the British government.
So are they making more Deadpool movies? I really enjoyed the second one, but haven't seen this yet, just all the spoilers that were posted online.
I assume so. There are a bunch of jokes throughout the movie about how many more of these Hugh Jackman will have to do.
hahaha I know that pain...
I am so happy that my daughter flew from home some years ago.
Now she's travelling around, looking for her own place in the world.
Now I can be free and do whatever I want.
I watched the all series of Spiderman again 😂
I watched "Caddo lake": https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15552142
Quite interesting movie about passing through a time hole and even making a loop.
Yeah this looks right up my alley.
Did you ever watch the show 1899? Thought it was great, but it never got a season 2.
oh yeah good series. Didn't know they are about to make season 2.
I was saying it never got a season 2, and by the looks of it never will.
movie name: The Fall 2023
honestly considered to be one of the few movies that got noticed even though it has a really chilling and terrifying concept that many be afraid of which is experiencing fear of heights and what could go wrong. it is a masterpiece and i loved the plot which you will find later on appealing and not so easy to be forgotten about.
I watched Wild Robot with my youngest son last night. The movie was pretty good and we both enjoyed it.
view on youtu.bePlanning to maybe check out Bad Genius (the new American remake). I loved the original Thai version, and am curious on how good/bad is the American remake.
Yesterday my dad wrote to me recommending that I watch this movie with my daughter, he also gave me good references. I will watch it today with my daughter.
This looks good, I like the new Dreamworks art style.
Late Night with the Devil (2023)
Longlegs (2024)
Anatomy of a Fall (2023)

The Fall Guy was great. The other two were okay.
What did you think of Furiosa?
Kids Lego Avengers! Not to dox myself but one of the Avengers actors is my 3rd cousin so my kids love that character.
I didn't watch any movies this week, but this Drag Me to Hell interested me. Thanks for the suggestion
I watched way too many movies this week. Most recently it was DOGMA.
Rewatched Sunshine. Underrated Sci-fi movie if you can disbelief about a few minor things.
Never realized before that Captain America plays the character Mace. Amazing cast.
This week I watched The Aristocats again. My daughter loves the story and we both love it. The world of children is truly magical.

Not this week, but I watched The Uglies recently. I must say it was good escapist entertainment for me
