It will be a great time, especially for all you in here with experience running nodes!
Feel free to demand a lot of Bitcoin for consulting the fuckers, or simply turn them down with a sneer ;-)
When will that happen? Maybe the first blips on the radar mid 2025?
Or will it be the next bull market? Could even happen between the traditional cycles, helping to pin a higher floor than we've seen in cycles so far...
Maybe other large entities will have to get in before that, retail chains?
We're on the verge of this, at least in countries where the population will start pushing hard for Bitcoin over Lightning...

More and more "uncle Jim" LN banks will make those commercial fiat banks obsolete. But is a learning curve for all. Why do you think I wrote so many guides (almost 70) about Bitcoin and LN, solutions for merchants etc?

But I also think at least some of them will get burnt thinking they can adopt this way, hehe...
The same way Bitcoin will have to kill off Blackrock, but that will take longer of course!

Is the other way around, LN nodes are already "banks"! I don't think banks, as we know them today, will be allowed to run nodes, that will be fun to watch LOL
But ask them about bitcoin and they probably gonna sell it to you at a fee wrapped on a beautiful ETF paper

Hopefully individuals will set up home heater mining with built in nodes. And there will be a demand for people to help set it up there. No need for banks.
