The good news is that the political division is increasingly people who question regime propaganda vs those who don't, 

That could certainly change, but for now it's allowing many people to see what a monster the US regime is.

Yes, this is totally agreed. 
And, it's such a shame that most North American citizens are so glued, and yet so disconnected from their own government. No wonder the U.S. is politcally divided. While their politicians and government agents are busy commiting atrocities abroad, Hollywood is aslo busy brainwashing the citizens.
