RIP. Both Google and Microsoft make it hard for me as a consumer to trust buying into any of their products. I never know when I’m going to be rugged.

The life arc for them always bends toward rug, because they only have one real product and everything else is a trap. Done with all of it....well almost dead to me.
You would think there would be a way for them to spin these off as separate profitable companies instead of just killing them off :/ ...
These tech giants might seem similar but they are actually quite different.

Any Android TV device like the Walmart Onn Stick can do streaming like the classic Chromecast. Depends your needs, I find the Onn Pro 2024 a better option than the Google Streamer, but my Shield Pro is still rocking.
Shield has had a legendary run
And had frequent support and updates than any Android device. Let's hope Nvidia considers a new replacement.
i would start hosting on jellyfin or even plex as an alternative if you are looking for a streaming setup
