What a legend. Nice one k00b 👊 great track
That's throwing back a fair old way. Fantastic song
Yeah my bad I forgot we were prompted with a year and I was on this kick today.
Nah man not at all, the year is irrelevant really, it's just where I went to this week. The point of throwback Thursday for me is to get people digging into those archives and sharing stuff that's not brand new or recent and introducing people to different stuff from different eras. I wouldn't hold the year I went to as what everyone else needs to stick to at all.
I do love that sound. And the video was really interesting aswell. Nice one coins 👊
Thanks! This is one of my first songs in Spanish! After it I fell in love with Latin music.
Jus in case, I've just started a pool for ~Music. Have you seen it?
Id not yet. I'm still getting through all the notifications I'd missed throughout the day. But I'll check it out.
I also really love Spanish music, there's something so fun and vibrant about it.
Just check it out. It's running hot 🔥
That seems like a really cool idea. I'm excited to see how this all goes. Could be a lot of fun. And if it attracts more people to the territory, perhaps they'll stick around and take a look at the Daily Discussion Thread or something of the other posts.
That's exactly what I look forward to.
Forgot about this track until a couple days ago when I came across it again. Been impatiently waiting to drop it in Throwback Thursday but now the time has come!
view on www.youtube.comI've not heard this before I don't think. That's got a particular era stamped all over it hasn't it. Perfect for throwback Thursday, glad you saved it for us
She's got great vocals. Enjoyed that.
Afghan Whigs - My Enemy (1996)
view on m.youtube.comTheir entire catalog is great, but I love this album Black Love.
Sort of remind me a bit of Biffy clyro. Really cool sound. Nice one punchbowl 👊
The name Biffy Clyro rings a bell, but I actually haven't listened at all. So perhaps that's a false memory. Going to have to check em out later, thanks.
Wow. That's a huge throwback! Nice one keys 👊
Just got the news that Greg Kihn has died, so here's a twofer:

I've never heard of him before but he's got that fantastic old rock sound. I'll definitely check more out.
Another epic favorite.

True legend of the industry and a phenomenal track.
Yes, another ripper.
I've been listening surf rock lately.
The reverb of the guitar like crushing waves 🌊

Cool track, I can hear that likeness to the waves that you mentioned, sounds really nice.
Gun - Watching the World Go ByGun - Watching the World Go By
This track from a lesser known Scottish rock band might not be a throwback for a many people but it is for me. I just introduced it to my son, who is learning to play 🎸 He loved it and immediately picked up the chords and we all sang along 🥰
view on www.youtube.comGood old gun. I really like their stuff, very similar sort of sound to Def leppard, bon Jovi, that kinda sound.
You know how to get me. I love Carlos Santana. And this song is just brilliant.
He's unstoppable. 🫡 Bow in the presence of greatness. There is no one who does it better than Eminem in that genre. He's the goat.
