This one is similar to the yogurt bread featured earlier. Again #647816 self-rising flour is essential since it cuts down on the additional ingredients a person would need to make bread. Combine 1 ¼ cups of milk with two cups of self-rising flour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Meanwhile, line an 8 x 4 loaf pan with parchment paper. Combine the flour and milk until it’s just mixed. It should look a little lumpy at this point. Pour the dough into th4e pan and bake for 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Optional: Brush the top with butter for a shiny glaze.
The store-bought milk bread is delicious, but homemade bread is usually even tastier. Thanks, I'll try it.
