I haven't read the NIP yet, but I suspect that nutsack is a cashu wallet that uses the relays as its database for storing proofs, probably as serialised events.
This tweak is pretty smart, with a surprisingly significant impact. Clever stuff!

how does this work then? I login with extension, choose a mint, choose relays click next... nothing happens, click Nutzap... nothing happens, click my profile pic... nothing happens
