I haven't been there in 30 years. I spent a few hot summer days there back in the day. Once, after a debauched all night gambling session, we went outside and it was snowing. I thought I was hallucinating.
I have been to LA at least 10 times but I have never gone to Dodgers stadium. Definitely on my stadium bucket list. Just never seemed to line up when I was there. I have been to all the other California ballparks.
I was there in January with my family to see the Postcard From Earth show. It was a 50 minute showcase film that showcases the capabilities of the Sphere. The screen is really huge. The sound system is very good. The chairs can rumble too. I can see this venue being very good for concerts or tailored filmed documentaries. My whole family enjoyed our experience, although I though it was a bit pricey.
I agree with you that it will probably be too much and too busy for the eyes to handle if I have to see all that graphic and effects on that huge screen for hours.
