Pakistan end their campaign with a win. But they almost messed this up too. The middle-order collapse gave Ireland hope when Pakistan slipped from 52/2 to 62/6. Babar though was there and he dropped anchor to ensure there were no further alarms. The two Afridis came good with the bat and helped Babar along. Ireland fought spiritedly with the low total they had with McCarthy and the seamers producing vital strikes. But Stirling gambled with all his seamers in an effort to get Pakistan bowled out and that meant the last few overs had to be bowled by the leggies - Delany and White, who were not that effective
