ETH is fiat. It's the same centralized shit we've always had.

One of the big headlines in Ethereum community rn is that Chainlink will only support the main ethereum chain, whatever that means, but the result is that most defi will break if its not on the main chain.
There is just some irony there when a relatively small group of people can break most of defi
ps. defi is short for decentralized finance. A scam term using the education that bitcoiners provide about decentralization to get investments from greedy and ignorant people :)

Crypto API and node infrastructure providers Infura and Alchemy are the latest centralized entities in the cryptocurrency space to blacklist the US Treasury-sanctioned crypto mixer Tornado Cash.
Both platforms are currently blocking remote procedure call (RPC) requests to Tornado Cash, according to Twitter user 0xdev0.
Infura has been known to block access to crypto services in accordance with US sanctions. Users in places like Iran and Venezuela have routinely complained of being unable to use MetaMask. The MetaMask wallet uses Infura as its default RPC endpoint for connecting to the Ethereum network.

Ethereans starting to realize the importance of running a full node. They can't even hide, because full ETH nodes have already a hard time maintaining their peers on clearnet. So no TOR or I2P would be viable for them. Not mentionning the cost of hardware of course. Parody of decentralization will fall like house of cards.

Curve.fi is now also suffering from DNS spoofing and malicious contract approvals. You essentially need to run your own node AND UI to have any semblance of "safety".
