I know it is a difficult question to answer, since there are many games with a very good story, but if I had to stick with just one game, I would stick with Red Dead Redemption 2, its story caught me too much and since then, it has been difficult for me to find such a good story, some other good stories for me have been the last of us, the witcher 3 and final fantasy IX

I really liked Half-Life: Alyx and Last of Us, but I mostly recall just not being bored by the story.

I've only played Half-life 2 unfortunately, the last of us is one of my favorite stories too.

Titanfall 2 was pretty good for a FPS.
I didn't play Titanfall 1 too much since the multiplayer was already mostly dead when I discovered it, but I very much liked how they told the lore inside multiplayer matches and depending on which side you were playing on in the match, you picked up a different perspective.
