The cover is pretty catchy, but I am partial to the original. I remember getting the CD as a gift for my birthday!

I just can't get behind it. It doesn't feel like a cover, or a tribute, it feels like they've just ripped off the music and added their lyrics and rebranded it.

I'm sure everything is above board but it just feels off to me.

I feel like any of that dance, electro, techno, etc are never really covers. 1 artist always attaches their thing and then so does the next guy and so on and so forth. It's why all those type of tracks have like 52 people listed as "featuring" 😆

Its hard because its pretry catchy. They took the tune and couple words and made it their own.
