Is there a method for SPV of taproot assets? Or does it require an indexer?

Pros

• it hopefully pulls the onchain shitcoins out of onchain
• it can maybe do stable coins (useful for now)
• it advances the research and state of art on lightning
• hopefully increasing liquidity in the network

Cons

• this is a shitcoin and scam factory
• added complexity
• wasted time and not implemented by other nodes (afaik)

Why not use cashu protocol for creating tokens? Surely, we could do it very easily, no?
