So is this similar to Strike regarding this feature?

reply

it's accepting cash but getting sent a portion as bitcoin, no BTC acceptance as of yet
with Strike, you can also accept bitcoin

reply

No BTC conversion you mean, with strike? Or ???

here's an explainer of the workflow with each - hope this is clearer:

Square: customer pays with credit/debit fiat card > funds go into biz bank account run by Square> a % of income owner sets gets sent & converted to connected a CashApp account as bitcoin

customer payment options: fiat only, credit/debit/ACH payments to the Square bank account setup with the business profile

Strike : customer pays Strike invoice, funds arrive as either bitcoin /fiat in account according to receiver split

customer payment options: Fiat (through Strike account) or bitcoin via Lightning/on-chain

This is very interesting. My business used to accept payments via square. Only had one customer that used it, everyone else paid by cheque or direct deposit but this would have been a great way to allocate a small percentage of the business treasury automatically to bitcoin.
