I just setup a new nostr acct on Primal iOS and I wasn’t asked to save my nsec. Does it store it in my iCloud automatically?

It seems to use iCloud Keychain as can be seen here and here.

yep. if you delete the app from your phone and restore it you don't lose anything. They should still suggest people to store their nsec separately i guess. They may be screwed if they press the logout button.

it actually does give you a warning if you try to sign out.

Probably not. I'd guess it stores in the app data on your iPhone.
