Probably my favourite 10cc track and great for a Sunday
This sends me right back to my childhood listening to the radio. Plus if your from the UK "walking in the wind and snow" feels like everyday.
I wasn't allowed to like them back in the mid 2ks. They weren't heavy enough. But confession time, my sister had "3 cheers" and "black parade" and I didn't protest when she played them 😉

I'm not a big fan of them either, but that Bob Dylan cover they did was powerful!
Maybe we should. Self promotion Sunday, daily Discussion and in loving memory of Steve Wright Sunday love songs... That's a lot of content in one day. Could bump self promotion Sunday to self promotion Saturday? 🤔 Will definitely need to think on it.
Meta Music Mondays did a movie week before the territory existed. I was hoping to be able to run a joint venture at some point with ~Movies but haven't gotten round to putting a pitch together. Been surprisingly busy since Xmas.
Tis the way of things. Very sad 😔 but I too am getting concerned about getting priced out of the territory fees.
Maybe we should do a fund raiser of some kind 🤔 not sure how as we've covered so many bases in the dailies 🤣 and various weeklys.
Would need to be something really cool and special to raise funds for territory fees.
Generating 100k is a big ask of people who want to come here and just listen to some music yaknow. And I want this space as much as possible to remain free for content providers. (I zap them their post fees back so it's effectively free to be providing content).
Linkin Park and Jay-Z performing at Live 8 in Philadelphia's Benjamin Franklin Parkway on the 2nd July, 2005. Organised by Sir Bob and The Band Aid Trust to raise money to fight poverty around the world, the event was viewed by around 2 billion people.
I watched that on TV at the time. Amazing gig. I always loved the fusion between hip-hop and metal. The Collision Course album is one of my all time favourites.
I saw the Live 8 logo in the Linkin Park video and that brought back some good memories of the 2005 concert.
It was the first time that I saw Keith Urban. I had the TV playing and Keith came on and it was like, wow, who the fk is this. It had been a while since I had heard anything like the music I'd liked when growing up as a teenager. He had elements of Bryan Adams but was country rock as well. It turned out he supported Bryan on a European tour.
This led me in to country music and finding all these great country rock bands.

Really enjoying Keith Urban at the moment. He's got that "if Bryan Adams was country" thing like you mentioned. Just feel good country rock. Great track.
