According to a study conducted by the World Health Organization and the International Labour Organization in 2021, working long hours (defined in the study as more than 55 per week) was a cause of 745,000 deaths from heart disease and stroke in 2016.
pull down to refresh
70-80 most weeks but it's only really work when people try to tell me what to do rather than convince me
A lesson i learnt many years ago as a Sales Manager,
The first person you have to sell to is the business owner, then the client.
It doesnt count if you are having fun :) just kidding
More than 48 hours per week is not good for your health
Is health the most important thing in life?
If you sick you can't enjoy your life, money worth nothing,,,you can't buy good health with your money
Why do you assume I work to make money?
hahaha, Nice flex, that made my day
fwiw I didn't mean it as a flex in the sense that I have a lot of money because I don't. I'm just not motivated to work for anything more than a basic amount of money which I can acquire working a basic amount of hours.
I work long hours because I enjoy my work.
Working for long hours per day that makes your health get worse I think it's for money..
Money is not why I work long hours even if thatβs the only reason why you would work long hours.
Too much,,, physical and mental
Zero
I should work more to reach this level π€
Nope, just enjoy your job more so that you don't see it as a work time, or simply change it for another one in which you enjoy it so much that you would do it anyway simply for pleasure https://media.tenor.com/MqYNUda-VbAAAAAM/shrug-nomad-of-nowhere.gif
Thanks π
I love u sat
Enjoy your day
The South Korean term for overwork is "Gwarosa" (κ³Όλ‘μ¬) or "Karoshi" (κ³Όλ‘μ¬) in Korean. It refers to the phenomenon of working excessively long hours, often leading to negative health consequences.
Since Iβm a parent, my working hours are regimented because I deem it to be so, otherwise no one will pick up my kids. I work from 7.45am-5pm, 5.30pm latest.
The Japanese and South Koreans have terms for death by overwork, which goes to show that it is a serious social problem. I canβt recall the South Korean term but the Japanese one is called Karoshi
Gwarosa is the South Korean term for overwork
12/shift, 36/week standard unless I want some fiat
Very nice ππ
12h shifts, 12-22 shifts a month, depending on my fiat mining goals. Trying to back down closer to 12 but we are always short staffed.
Gotta make hay while the sun shines before the system starts to collapse further.
Take care of yourself bro
30-35 I work remote and and very efficient
Enjoy your life, work till you do not have to.

You bet, life is a journey, not a destination!
Used to work up to 60.. Airport was my second home, Got burnt Went to work for another company, 2/3 pay, half the hours, Lot more happy now, Miss some perks of the old pay
More working hours make your life short.....work Smart not hard
for sure.. It cost me a relation, Some health, Some addictions..
The stress was high.. Many job positions relied on my performance, had to sell Millions a year..
The 5 star hotels, the parties and the wild sex where the only positive point
Enjoy your life
Only 6 hours per day
Enjoy the weekends

You should have some work to do π€
My work is looking after my kids.
I am looking for a short term contract job now though. I haven't worked much in the past couple years since I sold my business.
I worked enough for a couple lifetimes the 15 years prior to the last 2.
It's the most Nobel job β€οΈ
Self employed so itβs definitely more than 40. Thankfully itβs work I enjoy doing so the time flies!
Enjoy your life π
Right! As far as we know, we only get one.
I'm 16*7 on duty. Extra 8 hours a day I spend on sleep and naps. Hope one day I'll move further from this pattern
Work smart and you will teach your goals
This is much more complicated situation. I'm not working, I'm on duty
Hope your situation get better soon π
Thousands thanks
Welcome π€
In theory eight, but I just came back from a vacation, my net worth (in fiat) is through the roof, so I've worked more like 2 hrs per day.
Very nice πππ keep it up until you reach zero hour
Averaged only 5hr/week this mo which was nice, normally 20hr/week.
Very good
0 hours of work.
All the hours of play which is my "work"
10+
Per week?
Officially, 8 hours
Of which at least half is spent watching the Bitcoin ticker π
π same here
It's pretty much 9-6 or so most days but I work from home and my job is fairly low stress these days so I have a lot of time and freedom on my hands to stay plenty healthy.
Enjoy your time
38 hours a week, but much of that could be spent operating a side-hustle with downtime. Regretfully, I have not taken advantage of that.
I have a typical 8 hour work day.
Hopefully I can cut that in half with work I'm more interested in.
Wish you the best
I don't work or I don't assume my work as job. So, it means that I don't work. I don't have job apart from writing about Bitcoin, hodling Bitcoin, taking care of my parents, walking and playing with my dog, gardening, cooking and a lot other stuff. Ok, TBH, I am awake for 16 or 17 hours daily, out of which I definitely work 15 hours a day. But again that's not a work that's what I love to do, love to be.
Doing what you love is the best kind of work
Love yourself and love what you do are the two things I highly recommend
Nice try, fed

Playing in a band in Belize, most gigs are 3 hours and it takes 4Β½-5 hours to accomplish.
When I'm not sleeping, I'm working, but I run my own media ministry online. Get to work from home and absolutely love the work that God has called me to!
6 hours per day
