I see from the analytics that there has been only 38 visitors visiting the site from China in the past 38 days. I was thinking maybe that number is so low is because stacker.news might be getting blocked, but nope -- according to this, the SN website is not being blocked in China:

Let's not forget the use of VPNs and the Chinese diaspora
Yup, makes sense that even though SN might not be blocked there still are visitors from China who are accessing the site via a VPN anyway.
As far as the diaspora, ... yup, they would show up in whatever geographic location they are located, but that's about the extent of the info that can be obtained for a site like SN where no identity information is collected.
They prefer Chinese speaking sites. Anyone have a list of bitcoin related Chinese sites?
