Talking Heads was a US rock Band that formed in New York City in 1975. They were new wave pioneers. When I first heard their sound I didn't know what to make of them. They took the rock music I loved in a new direction. There are so many great songs to choose from, but this remains one of my favorites all these years later. Here's Life During Wartime:

Talking heads were one of the bands I think of having strange music videos. I mean, it's fun, but TBH I consider it... bad music LOL. Almost like forming a band on a dare. 'We aren't good musicians, and I can't sing, how are we going to sell this?' To each is own of course.

Like you say, to each his own. I was never a Rush fan, though most of my friends were. I think David Byrne was weird, but also very talented.
