Every week I use RoboSats to buy my fair share of sats, no kyc no bullshit. Governments will have hard time stopping this
There is no such thing as "no KYC" if you pay via online banking.
One IBAN, that can also be not tied to my identity, is way less KYC than having a full blown verification on a shitcoin casino exchange, and you can still launder you sats after the purchase anyway (whirpool, coinjoin, etc...)

Irrelevant. If something was purchased under your name and disappears into the void is still better than nothing. But there is still something in your name disappearing into the void.
Cash bought amazon gift card works and is wholly KYC-free, just as one example of a KYC-free payment method. I agree, some methods will de-anonymize the user
A few years ago I painfully learned that amazon dot com and amazon dot de gift and amazon dot fr gift cards are not compatible!
All the awesome infrastructure made by americans based on the anonymity of gift cards is always a risk to try out for us europeans...

Yes, that is an important point. An Amazon USA gift card will be useless for a European and vice versa
Very few people know about Bitcoin, even few know about the lightning network and even fewer know about RoboSats.
To make it grow exponentially you just need to let 2 other people know... and they have to do the same another 32 times and then we are good... :)

This is an increase from a few weeks ago where the max was raised to 2.2 million sats.
With the current exchange rate, 3 million sats allows a trade in the range of ~$600.
Minimum trade is in the $5 range.
There has been so much progress on RoboSats since its launch in February, and the rate of improvements seems to be quickening. Recently they added I2P support. Before that, they added end-to-end encrypted chat (PGP encrypted) for payment instructions and such.
And it has been growing very fast!

Highly recommended users try out RoboSats if they haven't yet, or at least just visit the Tor or I2P site to see how user-friendly it is
Why does their website show up as unsafe on mobile?
RoboSats requires Tor Browser, or I2P.
They have the https://unsafe.robosats.com URL that lets you VIEW the site using the "clearnet" (what you are likely using right now to view this reply), but to actually use RoboSats for a trade, you will need to use the link with the .onion address (access using Tor) or the link for the .i2p address (access via I2P).
Fortunately, Tor browser is available on mobile.
RoboSats is planning a mobile app as well so that it can be used without even having to know what Tor is, similar to how something like ... say, BlueWallet has support for Tor as well, without the user even knowing.
It is good project and a place I get all my BTC.

That is great news, I need to try this out and be less lazy with my DCA. Well worth it to do it manually to get a non-kyc stack.
