Today I found that when you ask people what one should always have at home everybody answers something different but everybody insists that their own list is the objectively correct list.
So which foods are yours?
Pasta and rice.

If we ran out of everything in the cupboard that was capable of making an actual meal or snack there would, at least, still be a large variety of herbs and spices and most likely some type of tea.

  • bananas How can one NOT have bananas for a quick snack?

Olive oil, rice, pasta, seeds (pumpkin, chia, flax, brewer's yeast, sunflower), spicies (cumin, ginger, curcuma, cardamono...), herbs ( parsley, oregan, basil..), seaweed, cheese, vegetables, fruits

For me meat is something I'd only buy when I don't have any at home. So it doesn't fall into this category.
Do you really continuously have beef at home? Like, buy more while you still have at home?

Ideally, beef from a local rancher. If continuous supply in unavailable due to limited stock, eggs.

I don't do the shopping but if were out of the following I'll say something to the CPO.
Milk, sourdough, whole coffee beans, half&half, butter, eggs, oatmeal, salt, sugar, pepper, cinnamon.

This is now literally my "groceries to always have around" list. There's been a big change since I've gone mostly carnivore.

Yes. I actually don't like them all that much, but I try to eat a can a week, they're supposed to be so healthy, and I don't eat a ton of other seafood. To really like them, though, I think you need to grow up eating them.

tbh none, if i have food at home it's something I am gonna cook in the next few days, otherwise i dont want to keep random food in the house
