Hey Devs and Hackers! It's time for your daily rendezvous at the Daily Devs Hangout. 🛠️🔗
Pull up your ergonomic chair in our virtual realm and share a slice of your day. From triumphs over complex code, head-scratching bugs that make you wonder why you started coding in the first place - we're all here for it. 🐞💻
Cracked a tough algorithm? Encountered a Bitcoin brain-teaser? Or perhaps you've got a piece of sage advice that could save a fellow dev's sanity? This is the place to spill.
With the proliferation of AI, do you think the future of devs are going to be linguistic people instead of math/logic people?
At the end of the day, the interface to the future computers will be natural language.
We are not punching cards anymore for programming, and we are not writing in assembly for every machine, we had a few decades of high level languages.
Is is time now to move on to natural language programming?
reply
It will still be logic, but no more need to learn intermediate languages to define rules for systems.

The amount of dependencies that web dev people use is insane.
There are usually hundreds and hundreds of random packages.
It probably explains the explosion of hacks lately.

Never been a professional frontend dev, but I'm doing it these days. Vue & Vuetify is awesome. Maybe I haven't build a mind model of CSS layout, it seems unreasonable sometimes. IMHO backend guys got to learn a bit frontend things. I should have done it years ago.
