Hey very cool concept.
I don't know if you are the dev or just reposting, but in case, do you know what is the relay rate limit for the events used by the chess game?
Would this scale for a more complex game, let's say 20 events per second or something like that?

Relays would set such a limit. This is not handled by the game.
So I would say yes, as long as the used relay supports that. This game uses kind 30 events which aren't standardized yet. The NIP PR was recently closed because of inactivity.
