Following a session from before my break...
  • Write out what you will be working on in the next 50 minutes.
  • Come back at the end and comment on what you achieved and what are your next tasks for the next hour.
  • Rinse and repeat.
  • Take a 10-minute break between each session.
  • Spend/receive some sats to encourage others/get encouragement.
You can be vague in your tasks if things are confidential.
I'll start below.

Are you really planning your day like that? Gotta be Hella exhaustive...
reply
It kinda tricks me into the flow. As you can see, my last update was 7 hours ago. The 4 hours after that ended up being non-stop focus. My office is full of distractions (no way to escape it): so by doing some conscious refocusing work every hour, I make sure that I never get distracted beyond a 50-minute session.

That's what focusmate.com is mostly about. Trying to incorporate this concept here by finding like-minded people and leveraging the power of sats. I'll probably reevaluate if I see this is not catching on and I'm just talking into the void. Also, don't want to spam people with my own BS ;)
reply
But what if the void welcomes you...
Yeah, it certainly isn't my kinda thing, but if it works, it works.
reply
Yeah, that was poorly phrased, I don't post with the hopes of having people comment on my work (why would they)... the void is fine... but it's more to create a community where other people leverage this same pomodore style working strategy.
reply
Create a territory... Become one of us... One of us...
*I don't own any territories.

I'll try working on laying as comfortably as possible in my hospital bed, while I wait for the results from the doctor.
I'll do this at least today and tomorrow, gonna be a hardcore session of determination.
