I thought of this after checking out @JerryGarcia's tune of the day, which is #15 on this list. I actually had personal experience with the #1 song many, many years ago in college. I was with a bunch of friends in a dorm room listening to Jimi Hendrix and doing what all college students did back then while listening to Jimi Hendrix. Someone's roommate walked in and said, "hey, I didn't know Jimi Hendrix was gay." We were puzzled. He said, "yeah, you know, scuse me while I kiss this guy." We all thought it was the funniest thing we ever heard, but he was serious.
