I'm actually a fan of the Bitbox Bitcoin-only edition. However, my journey with hardware wallets started with the Trezor. Now, there's also a Bitcoin-only edition here. I like the color, which was a primary purchasing factor. Has anyone else made the move? I'm curious to hear what was your first hardware wallet?
I know that on my regular trezor it is an option to switch to the bitcoin only version of the software. I have been tempted. Not sure why I haven't tried it. Are there any real pros to it?

I prefer not to make unqualified statements here. In the past, I've found Trezor support to be helpful whenever I had questions: support@trezor.io

Hardware wallets that work with shitcoins app are risky A lot of energy goes into working with the shitcoin app, and that leads to a lot of mistakes

no, why not just MAKE your own? not only are they causing so much attention but also a waste of money.

Just playing devils advocate here…
If someone makes a shitcoin territory on SN, and it doesn’t get removed by k00b and company (which I’m sure it wouldn’t since censorship isn’t the goal here), would you avoid SN because it enables shitcoinery in this way?
Hardware is good for normal people self custody dude
No way I would tell someone with a windows or Mac operating system to try to set up offline keys securely with only software

There will be a lot of newbs even here on SN as we get into bull season, so it matters what we post and recommend doing.
Sure YOU can read and understand Darth’s guides on Tails OS electrum software only offline Private Key generation.
But a “normie” should buy a blockstream jade for $50 and get their cheese off coinbase.
